I am a slacker. I typed an update like a month ago, the second week I was too lazy, the third week I forgot it was Thursday, and now I have the time to type.
I have been so damn busy, I have so many leadership positions at my college and I am now an Intern (my coworkers are really rad). So I am pretty busy, but I am happy with life.
Today I was talking to my fellow peers in Student Government, and I decided to write about stalkers! And next weeks Happy Hour story, 'The most messed up people I have met", will tie in with this week's story!
I have never had an extreme case of a stalker, but I certainly have my share. I only have 4 extreme cases of a stalker, no physical harm done, only a little scare and restraining orders. Whenever I hear about a stalker situation, the song "Every Breath You Take" by the Police always pops up in my head (play that song while you read this).
#1. The Walmart Stalker:
This worker who worked at Walmart would follow me into aisles and stare at me, he would always go the opposite way to purposely run into me and whisper seductive things (yes, this guy and the full story will feature in next weeks HH story) into my ear. Shiver.
#2. The Professional Photographer:
I always got bullied as a kid, but once I got into High School, it stopped and it didn't bother me as much. But once I started my upper classmen years, it happened in class, but it never got intense in class because I am a Petty woman who is not afraid to throw hands. Although, on Twitter, this man in my class FOLLOWED me and took photos of me getting in and out of my car, walking to class, sitting in class, entering the ladies room, he social media stalked me and downloaded my images, he even had a photo of me walking in my driveway into my house. He threatened me online through an anonymous account, but the hints were obvious on who it was, and then he dropped out with his girlfriend. There is more to that story, but he will as well star on my blog next week.
#3. The Obsessive Try Hard:
This kid in High School who tried too hard to get my attention was way obsessed with me. This kid knew I love punk rock music, so he literally dressed as a goth kid the entire year trying to get my attention. Then he heard I am into gingers (because my boyfriend is ginger???), so he dyed his hair to be ginger, added freckles, and HE DRESSED LIKE MY BOYFRIEND. Also, this dude would follow me into Walmart and HE KNEW WHAT SNACKS I GOT. He would literally hand them to me. I was so freaked out (man , I should stop going to that Walmart). He got my number, Snapchat, and address without any help (totally creepy) Also, him and I somehow ended up at the same house warming party last fall and he wouldn't stop following me and talking to me about how big his ass is.
???????? Haven't seen him since. Thank God.
#4. The Ex:
People don't break up with me, I break up with them. After a really cruddy relationship I had when I was a freshman, this dude would not let me go. He would show up to my house at 2 am drunk with tacos and ice cream, he would always show off on social media and what not. But this dude literally slides into my DM's randomly with a "Hey, I have ice cream/I am outside, let's go somewhere, etc". He graduated my Freshman year, so he would always show up to my HS and he would bring me lunch, etc. He also knew my class schedule (weiiiirddd). But these weird stalks would only happen when he was drunk. He stopped messaging me randomly as soon as I started dating Jarred.
That is is for this week's happy hour story! Stay safe, look around your surroundings for anything that seems out of place. Anything can happen anywhere.
