Hello, everyone! I apologize about the late post tonight, I attended the AZ State Fair last night and I am EXHAUSTED. I took a two hour nap earlier today, if my mom didn't wake me up, I would be still sleeping. Also, I finally found the motivation to type this week's Final Night of the Living Dead Happy Hour Story!

Starting next week, the theme will be back to normal, until December (I am totally foreshadowing something here).

Quick back story about tonight's story, which is all about having a sixth sense. Now, I am not certain if you can be born with a sixth sense, but I believe it can be inherited through experience and or family background. My dad's side is from Voodoo City, AKA New Orleans, my dad, Grandma, and many more family ancestors had practiced voodoo, causing my Grandma, Dad, and I to sense people and things that are not present. Which is why my dad and I NEVER EVER enter Antique shops, because it gets freaky.

If you don't know what an antique shop is or have entered an antique shop, it is brick and mortar store that sells items from the past. For example, items from the civil war, WWI/WWII, people's collectables from an older time, and what not.

Now, my family and I went to an Antique shop in a mall that was practically abandoned and falling apart. No sales associates were present in the store. My mom saw a Vanity set she wanted to purchase, my dad leaned over and said "Don't touch anything, Camilla, you could capture a spirit in your life." As a kid, I would always sense something that was not physically visible, but was present, but I never figured it could be a spirit from the past life.

My dad went to check out the Vanity set.

This is when it gets really freaky...

My dad began to shake and his teeth began to chatter, I stepped closer to see if my dad was joking around, my dad suddenly stepped away and grabbed me, he harshly whispered "Camilla, grab your mother, we need to leave now. This place has very bad energy, the spirit of the person who owned this Vanity wants to harm someone."

I was WAY freaked out, I ran for my mom and my dad shouted "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING CAMILLA!"

I could not find my mom. I was in the back of the antique shop by the time I heard her voice. I got distracted by a large mirror, the border design was absolutely stunning. Suddenly, I felt the heaviest pressure I ever felt. It felt as if I was suffocating, I got really cold, and I could not move. I suddenly felt someone grab my shoulder and squeeze it harshly. I tried to move, but I couldn't. I looked in the mirror and I saw a distinct shadow behind me. I heard a male whisper to me "Eternal Pain....", my mom suddenly grabbed me and asked me if I was OK.

I was suddenly warm again, I could move, and the mirror seemed hideous after that event. We heard my dad yell, so we left.

I hate antique stores, I can not enter them without feeling a presence if someone. Same with Funerals, I can feel the deceased person's spirit there. Also, very old parts of towns and other places like that, I can feel a different energy. Sometimes they're good, other times, they're a heinous energy.

That is it for the October Halloween Special for Happy Hour! I will be back on here with another Happy Hour story next Thursday. Stay safe and Happy Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos!
