Good evening! It is FINALLY October, which means this entire month's Happy Hour Stories are all about spooks, ghouls, and real stories that will make you say "Oh hell no" at the campfire.

Tonight's horror story will be about one of the sketchiest places I have encountered in my entire life.

Now, I have been to plenty of places I would never want to encounter again, so I will do one story!

One of the most terrifying moments I have ever dealt with was when I was 12 years old. I was attending Girls Camp for 5 days. The area was very old, quiet, and there were a lot of crosses around the area. I am a very light sleeper, I woke up around 3am to the sound of birds chirping. I decided to get up and go for a morning stroll in the forest, by myself. Not a bad idea, right? WRONG. I walked about 2 miles north-east and I ran into an abandoned graveyard. Here is where it gets creepy: There were 3 cracked graves in the middle of a grassland, the graves rested underneath a tree that drooped with thick branches. I walked up to the graves, I was so curious to see who pushed up daisies there. I realized a family was buried there, two girls and a boy. I looked at the tree that created a magnificent shade. I got distracted by a blue caterpillar. I suddenly heard a young girl's laugh and she said "Hi, Camilla!" I turned around, expecting one of my friends from camp. THERE. WAS. NO. ONE. The next thing I remember was running, like a track-star, downhill, jumping over boulders and logs. I ended up by the Mess Hall, everyone was enjoying breakfast. My group thought I told them I would be at the Mess Hall (I never told anybody anything). I was so freaked out, I lied and told them I went on a morning jog. A few minutes later, I fell ill and had to stay in bed almost all day.
