Good evening! Quick backstory, I was sitting in Lecture today, and I decided I shall start doing "Happy Hour Blogs" every Thursday night! Thursday night is ladies night. Basically, you go to the bar for Ladies Night/Happy Hour with your coworker, neighbor, and or friend, y'all have a few margaritas or glasses of wine, and chat the night away with your stories. From the time 3pm through 11pm on Thursdays, I will post a true and pretty psychotic story from my life on here! Now, on with the story!

College is a whole new setting of friends, adventures, obstacles, and really weird people that you should stay the HELL AWAY from. If you know me, I am the worst at math, I love math when I understand it or if there is physical money involved, otherwise, barf. At my college, if you are placed in a elementary-middle school math class like I am currently enrolled in, you are required to take a College Success class. They say it helps you find your true inner self, I believe it is there to persuade you to not drop out. ANYWAY, my professor is way cool and my classmates are pretty intimidating.

We had a real talk this past class, I found out that some of my classmates are driving illegally (I feel SO safe), A few have been thrown in the pokey for hurting people so severely, and a few El Chapo moments were mentioned. All though, that does not bother me, I grew up and went to school with people who drank in the fifth grade. All though, what made the hairs stand on my neck and calves was our assignment. We had to discuss murder someone or die moments, a majority of my classmates felt that it is O.K. to kill someone for money or to help someone out (do you work for the FBI or something?).

Further in our assignment, we got into groups to create an election for one of our members. Of course, I was expecting normal answers, for example: freedom of speech, equal rights to all men, women, children, and LGBT members, free college, low taxes, etc. HAHA, NOPE. People were all for crucifying people, another wanted to cut off people's tongues if they spoke against the President's belief's (I hate to bring up politics, but doesn't that make you a facist person?), people began to laugh at real-life burdens that people face with. I then realized, OH MY GOD, I AM IN A ROOM FILLED WITH CRAZY PEOPLE. At that point, I had no idea if they were being immature young adults or if they were serious, and that's the scary part to actually know that there are people out in the world thinking that things like this are OK.

I just want to say, be careful, stand up for your rights, and I will see y'all next Thursday for another Happy Hour story chat! Bon Voyage!
